Three product lines for flat roofs with photovoltaics: a thin cover board below the new membrane, a weather-resistant mineral board for edges and details and a site-applied mineral layer on the existing membrane.
For warehouses, logistics and commercial buildings in Germany and the Netherlands. Supplied per project, with the documentation of the specific board or system selected.

Product lines
Each line has a fixed place in the build-up. That place determines the loading, the installation method and the evidence you need. So choose the position first, then the product.
Roof build-up
From structural deck to PV module, a flat roof is a sequence of layers that carry, protect and seal one another. VlamShield adds a mineral layer at three positions. Select a layer to highlight its position.
Schematic representation. Not a construction drawing; the actual build-up and detailing follow from the project.
Applications
A new membrane opens up different options from an existing PV roof whose membrane stays in place. And edges, penetrations and upstands need an approach of their own.

In practice
On soft insulation, PV supports, ballast and foot traffic press locally on the waterproofing. A thin, rigid cover board spreads that pressure and gives the membrane an even, flat substrate. That is the classic place of DEK.
At roof edges, upstands and penetrations the membrane turns up and is vulnerable. A weather-resistant mineral board protects these surfaces mechanically with a homogeneous mineral finish, without being waterproofing itself. That is where WEER sits.
Where an intact membrane with PV is already in place, breaking it open is often not an option. A site-applied mineral layer follows the existing membrane, provided adhesion, seams and drainage have been assessed beforehand. That is the VLOEI route.
We separate strictly: reaction to fire of the material, performance of the complete roof assembly and system assessments. The project proposal states which document belongs to which layer.
Knowledge
Short, concrete articles on material, roof build-up, moisture, weight and evidence. Each article ends with the question: which line fits this situation?

Project enquiry
A section, a few photos and the roof area are enough to start. You receive a project proposal with the specific configuration, the supporting documentation and the open points we agree with you.
